In this EQ8 Beginner class, you will learn about how EQ8 works and how you can benefit from the many features that make quilt designing easy. This class is a fantastic introduction for the new EQ8 owner AND a great refresher for those who have owned EQ8 for a while. As EQ8 owners, you have a powerful quilt design tool at your fingertips—make the most of it by building your foundation of EQ8 skills!
In this 4 hour class you will :
- Learn the basics of navigating the three worktables in EQ8, as well as using the Block and Fabric Libraries (including importing images from fabric manufacturers web sites).
- Add your designs to the sketchbook and save project files with confidence.
- Create quilts and blocks from scratch, while learning the skills you need to design your own beautiful quilts.
- Modify quilt blocks to increase or decrease the size of your quilt.
- Determine yardage needed for your custom designed quilt.
- And so much more!
