Looking for a unique and creative way to grow your shoe collection? These European-design sneaker kits let you craft a pair that’s entirely your own—so striking, people will say, “You made those?!” Each kit includes unisex soles available in EU sizes 36–47, with your choice of three colours (black, white, or natural) and three styles (low, mid, or high tops). Customize even further with contrasting fabrics for the shoe, tongue, and lining. You can order the pre-purchase kit from Fabriculous.com. It includes one pair of soles, one pair of insoles (which can be swapped out for your own orthotics), a hand-sewing needle, waxed nylon thread, eyelets, and a pattern. - Pre-order before class the Fabriclous Sneaker Kit; for sizing and colour choices go to Fabriculous.com
- .5 meters of fabric if you want the same fabric for the shoe, tongue and lining or for contrasting shoe, tongue and lining, .2 meters of three different fabrics.
- Shape Flex 101 fusible woven interfacing - 1 meteravailable in white or black)
- Soft and Stable - .5 meters (available in white or black)
- Thread for quilting
- Sharp scissors for notching curves and cutting
- 505 adhesive spray
- Sewing awl
- Pins
- Sewing gauge
- Fabric marking pen
- Pencil
- Sewing machine in good working order with basic sewing feet, power cord, foot controller, along with a One 18”x18 square quilted for sneakers with only one fabric. (picture #1)
- For a contrast main fabric and tongue. (picture #2)
- One 18”x13” quilted for the tongue
- One 9”x13” for the main fabric
- Only quilt the soft and stable to the fabric. Do not quilt the lining; it will have interfacing fused to it.
- I recommend quilted approximately 1/2” to 3/4” squares. (picture #3). Quilting seam bar attachment
