SURF SONG BARGELLO

$50.00 + HST

Saturday November 18th, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm

The name “Bargello” originates from the “flame-like” embroidery design found on chairs in the Bargello palace in Florence Italy in the 17th century.(The palace was also a notorious prison, but enough of that.) Bargello entered the quilting world in the 1960’s. The designs are known for their graceful, curved lines, all made without sewing a single curved seam. This class is suitable for confident beginners and up. As long as you can sew a 1/4 inch seam and can count to 20 you have all the skills required to make a quilt you can be proud of. Amaze your family and friends with the beauty and serenity of your Bargello quilt. You don’t have to tell them how easy it was to make. In fact, I just wouldn’t!
