Saturdays February 25th & March 4th, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
Or Thursdays April 27th & May 4th, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
Please bring with you any items that need to be altered. Skirts, dresses, pants and/or anything needs an adjustment to the hem. Shirts or tops, dresses or pants that are over sized and need to be reshaped. Any items that need zippers replaced, skirt, dresses, pants or coats. A basic knowledge of sewing machine operation is required for this class.
SUPPLY LISTS FOR ALTERATIONS, SKIRTS, PANTS & DRESSES
Have your machine is in good working order with manual
Make sure that your machine has standard accessories (regular foot, zipper foot, screwdriver, lint brush etc.)
Sewing Supplies
Note pad
Matching color threads
Measuring tape ( 60”)
Scissors for cutting
Small scissors for “snipping threads”
Stitch ripper
Seam gauge
Pins 1” to 1 ½” in length
Marking tool (pencil, chalk, erasable marker)
Carbon tracing paper
Tracing wheel
Ruler (1 foot)
Sewing needle
Extra machine needles size 80/12 for cotton , 90/14 if using denim or heavy fabric
Extra bobbins
Follow the requirements on the back of your pattern and bring all necessary supplies.
Specifically for the Alteration Class
Please bring with you any items that need to be altered
