In this workshop, quilters will learn to use up those bits and pieces to make a cozy quilt. Use those bits and pieces left from making your children or grandchildren’s clothes. Or just use the left-over pieces from making projects over the years. Cotton is best, but poly-cotton and flannel work too! Great method for making an I Spy quilt for a child using fabric printed with images of animals, food, nature, etc.! You don’t think you have enough bits and pieces? Do not fret! I have lots so you can use mine! Small sample squares and a bag made using mile-a-minute squares are on display.

Mile-A-Minute Quilt Supply list:

• Lots and lots of scraps (cotton is preferable but I have used poly-cotton and flannel as well!)

• Rotary cutter

• Rotary cutting mat

• Thread

• Omnigrid or comparable square ruler - 6.5” x 6.5” is a good size

• Omnigrid or comparable ruler – at least 12” x 6”

• Scissors

• Stitch ripper
