Using Creative Grids Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool, use up scraps, jelly roles, fat quarters, or yardage to make a perfect 6 or 8 inch finished curvy log square. Using the Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool, each round is squared up before the next set of logs are added, the results are spectacular.

 Sewing machine
 ¼” foot
 Stitch ripper
 Rotary cutter
 Rotary cutting ruler
 Rotating cutting mat (recommended) or regular cutting mat
 Thread to match quilt fabric
 Scissors
 Sewing gauge
Fabric Requirements:
For a quilt 58” x 58 with 6” squares
 6” Creative Grids Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool - 6” Finished Blocks Quilt Ruler
 2 ½ yards (white) background fabric (or more if you want to make your quilt bigger)
 12 fat quarters of bright fabrics (or more if you want to make your quilt bigger) or lots of scraps and leftover fabric from other projects
 1 fat quarter for centre squares or scraps and leftover fabrics from other projects
 1 yard border fabric (optional) or more if you are making your quilt bigger
 3 ¾ yards backing fabric (depending on how many squares you want to make or if you want to make your quilt bigger)
For a quilt 72 x 72 with 8” squares with border
 8” Creative Grids Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool - 8” Finished Block Quilt Ruler
 3 1/4 yards (white) background fabric
 14 fat quarters of bright colours or lots of scraps / leftover fabric from other projects
 ¼ yard (multi-colour print) for centre squares
 2 yards for 6” border and binding
 5 yards backing fabric
